Death Photography

So I love all things Victorian (and I dont mean the state!). The Victorians would have photos of loved ones taken after death, often days after. In the case of children it was becouse they'd have no photos most of the time, often children would move and that would ruin the photo. Often with children their siblings are made tostand around them, usually these photos are set up like a normal photo; the subject sitting up, eyes open, book in hand etc sometimes they are in a coffin not often though.
